Date: 19th Feb 2021 Author: Scout Websites

Over the last 112 years, Scouting has grown across all bar 6 countries of the world. Despite cultural, demographic and environmental differences, all Scouts promise to ‘do their best’.

First Worcester’s young people, families, leaders and supporters joined together in June for their AGM and Awards Presentation. Over 240 Activity, Staged & Challenge Badges were awarded to Beavers, Cubs and Scouts, often earned by stepping outside their comfort zone.

Chief Scout Awards are the pinnacle of Scouting accomplishments, achieved through real endeavour and programme-wide participation. Bronze awards were presented to 6 Beavers, followed by 12 Silver for Cubs and 5 Gold for Scouts.

This can only be achieved due to the continued support and participation of our Young and Adult members. Scouting teaches skills for life, providing opportunities such as Paddleboarding, Pioneering, Problem Solving and Performing. Think you could help? Get in touch via gsl@firstworcester.co.uk
