The scouts went to Warren Oak camp site to spend a weekend cooking backwoods style. They made bread, camp doughnuts and even two different types of pie! Evidence of their success is on the Scout Photos page.

The winter nature walk was a great success with 10 Cubs and Beavers joining us. We saw lots of wildlife and did a range of fun activities. Check out the Group Photo page to see the fun we had!
One of our scouts organised a Pudsey fundraiser for Children In Need this year. She had a competition, a raffle, tea and coffee, cake stall, face painting and stalls selling phoenix cards, rag dolls and silver jewellery. She also had the bin bag fashion where pairs paid £1 to enter and make an outfit out of bin bags, carrier bags and various types of tape. They then modelled this on the cat walk at the end of the afternoon. Pudsey Bear also made a guest appearance! She raised £232.89 on the day, which has since gone up to over £270!
The group would like to say a big thank you to all the Beavers, Cubs, Scouts, Explorers & Young Leaders who came out for this years Remembrance Day Parade. It was a fantastic turn out from all sections and we are grateful that you took the time out of your busy lives to remember all the people who have and do fight for our right to live as we choose.
A big thank you to all the Cubs, Scouts, Siblings, Parents and Leaders who turned up to take part in our Big Tidy Up event this morning. We had a total of 30 people turn up and in 2 hours we collected a massive 16 bags of rubbish. That's an average of about half a bag each, well done!
